You Gots No Organization

So I have been coming to realize that my life is actually pretty unorganized. Since in the past I had usually been a pretty organized guy, I guess it took me a while to notice that things were different. There used to be days, mainly in college, where my entire day was mapped out, blocks of time accounted for, tasks, to-do lists, the whole nine. I was in love with my Palm Pilot, and it with me. We had a great relationship. Once I got rid of that, I guess I stopped paying attention and things got out of hand. Now I feel like I go huge amounts of time and cant really account for hours. So I have realized I need to start getting organized. Planning my workouts so they happen. Scheduling myself to do things that need done so I don't push them off and loaf around instead.

So I'm making a direct attempt to start becoming organized again. My phone won’t do the trick, so until I upgrade in July (got my eye on the Blackberry Storm, but not sure because Jackie has the Pearl and I HATE IT!), I think I'm going to try and use Windows Calendar. I seems to be as close to the out Outlook I used to use. Or I guess I could use the new Outlook I have. Any suggestions on programs are welcomed.

Well I am going to also attempt to get up in a few short hours to be productive with my mornings. I have been feeling bogged down lately by sleeping in and not getting the most out of my day. I was very successful at this on Saturday. I got up at 8am, worked out for an hour, caught up on some TV while I worked out, took the trash out, caught up online, and had some cereal, all before 10, which is my normal wake up time! So, if you know me, you know I am NOT a morning person, but I am going to attempt to change that. We’ll see how it goes. Feel free to check facebook or twitter to see if I succeeded!

Tuesday is my day off, and although I will be busy, it is a great day to catch up with me. So if you have a sec. give me a call!

  1. I have had success using gmail's built in Calender and the gmail labs Task feature.

  2. I have a MacBook and use Entourage which is pretty much = to Microsoft Outlook on a PC. I think it's helpful and I enjoy using it. Hope that helps!
